The whole process will take 4-6 weeks each session 1-2 weeks apart to let the skin fully heal. Depending on the individual and extent of hair loss you should expect the session to last 2-4 hours.

As SMP naturally fades over time the pigment gradually gets lighter. As its recommended to touch up every 2-5 years we blend the pigment into the natural hair to give it that “Salt & Pepper” look. This creates a fully undetectable contrast between Gray hair and tattoo. We do recommend keeping the hair shaved at 0-5mm for best results.

Every client is different, some pass out snoring, others find it quite painful, especially around the temples and front. Most of the time its described as an annoying niggly feeling that sits around 2-4 on a pain scale out of 10.

YES, I surprise myself everyday with how incredible and realistic the results are. Its not your typical tattoo this is a specialised and highly intricate procedure totally devoted to creating the look of “hair”. We ensure the pigment colour is matched to each individuals uniqueness.

Typically, if you are coming in for a full Head or hairline restoration we ask you to shave 0-5mm / 0-10mm this varies and will need to be assessed at the consultation. If you a requiring density or scar camouflage a full shave isn’t required, we just ask if you cut your hair to how you would usually wear it.

The needles we use are medical grade, single use and individually packaged. These are specialised SMP micro needles for fine detail artwork.

We use specialised Scalp Micropigmentation Pigments. No AZO pigments are used and comply with current regulations. They are completely safe and do not change colour or spread.

Cancellation Policy for Natural Pro SMP:

Quote Validity: All quotes provided by Natural Pro SMP are valid for a period of 30 days from the date of issuance. After this period, quotes are subject to reassessment.

Treatment Procedure: At Natural Pro SMP, we offer SMP Hairline Recreation treatments that involve replicating hair follicles using specialized techniques. Our procedure includes multiple sessions, typically 2-4, where carbon-based ink is deposited into the skin using microneedles. This process creates natural-looking and undetectable results without bleeding or ink discoloration.

Initial Consultation and Treatment: To begin the SMP treatment, we conduct an online and/or in-person consultation followed by your initial appointment. During the first session, we create the base of your treatment, using black ink diluted to match your natural hair colour at the root. We carefully consider your hair colour, skin tone, and desired outcome to ensure a flawless blend. The initial session helps us gauge how the pigment settles and allows for adjustments.

Additional Treatments and Blending: Subsequent treatments are scheduled to blend and add density to the results of the initial treatment. The number of sessions required varies for each client, depending on how the skin accepts the pigment. If further blending is necessary, we will schedule additional sessions accordingly.

Refresh Session and Additional Services: Upon completion of the SMP treatment, one refresh session is included within 12 months. This session is intended to address any unevenness, additional hair loss, or desired changes to your hairline. Additional sessions beyond the included refresh session will be charged at a rate of $290 per session. Refresh sessions outside the initial 12-month period are also priced at $290 per session.

Preparation and Hair Length: On the day of your treatment, please ensure your hair is clean, dry, and shaved to the style you intend to wear going forward. For a full hairline recreation on a bald head, maintaining a hair length of 0 to 0.5 is necessary for a seamless blend. Please avoid wet shaving your hair 24 hours prior to treatment, as this allows natural hair follicles to be more visible for color, size, and density matching. If needed, we can shave your hair to an appropriate length on the treatment day.

Personal/Medical Questionnaire and Consent Form: You'll be required to complete a short basic Personal/Medical Questionnaire and Consent Form on the treatment day. It is crucial to provide honest and accurate information, as misleading or false information may affect the outcome of your treatment, and you may be refused treatment.

Treatment Care Plan and Healing Period: We recommend allowing 7-14 days between treatment sessions to allow the pigments to settle and the skin to heal. The pigment deposited during the treatment may take up to 7-10 days to fully settle. Redness may occur within 1-48 hours following treatment, and you may wear a loose fitting hat during this period. The level of pain experienced during treatment varies from person to person but is generally described as a 2-3/10 on the pain scale, depending on the area of the scalp being treated.

Appointment Changes and Cancellations: last-minute changes or cancellations can disrupt our schedule. To ensure fairness to our artists and other clients, we have established the following policies:

• Appointment reminders will be sent via email and text 4 days and 24 hours before your scheduled appointments.

• If you need to change the date of your appointment, please provide a minimum of 48 hours notice by calling, emailing, or texting us.

• Any date changes or cancellations made within 48 hours of your appointment will incur a $200 rebooking fee. This fee must be paid before your next appointment. No exceptions.

• All changes to appointments are subject to availability, and we cannot guarantee your desired dates and times within a certain timeframe, especially for weekends, once your initial appointments have been changed.

• Deposits and all treatment payments are non-refundable for change of mind or treatment cancellations at any time.

CANCELATION POLICY A total of 2 date changes accepted per treatment. Rebooking fees will apply afterwards. Please allow 48hours notice for all date changes. All date changes within 48 hours of your appointment are subject to a $200 rebooking fee. No exceptions. No shows will incur a loss of deposit, or a $200 rebooking fee. Important: Last minute cancellation fees and rebooking terms will still apply for ALL cancellations within 48 hours or no shows due to “Feeling sick and/or Covid testing and Isolation”.

Please review and follow our treatment CARE PLAN carefully to ensure the best results. Additionally, please note that you must arrive alone for your appointment, as guests and children under 18 are not permitted in the tattoo studio as per VIC GOV regulations.

For consultations: You will only need a maximum of 30 minutes for consultations. There is lots of 1hr and 2hr parking spots on Greville St and surrounding. Please allow extra time to find parking as some periods of the day are busier than others.

For appointments: Appointment times can be between 2-4 hours, please park in an all day parking area so we can get the most out of your session time. There is all day parking at Prahran Square which is roughly a 5 minute walk to the studio.
