SMP is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that involves depositing specialised pigments into the scalp to replicate the appearance of hair follicles. It is commonly used to treat hair loss, providing the illusion of denser hair or a shaved scalp. The goal is to blend seamlessly with the client’s existing hair or create a completely new hairline.
The process typically consists of 1 – 4 sessions, each spanning 2 – 4 hours. The number and timing of these sessions vary based on the individual’s degree of hair loss.
Each session is setup 1 – 4 weeks apart, depending on the specific treatment and extent of hair loss. To achieve a realistic outcome, SMP is conducted gradually.
The idea behind this unique technique is to replicate or mimic your natural hair follicles, ultimately reducing the contrast between visible skin and hair.
